A 90-minute session about advocating at the federal level for funding and policies that help home repair nonprofits and people living in substandard housing. Make plans to join us in DC next March 10-12, 2020! This session will be led by Walter Crouch of
Appalachia Service Project, Lance George of
Housing Assistance Council, and Becca Davis of ReFrame Association. You'll also hear from Jay Clark (Carolina Rebuilding Ministry) and Melanie James (Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry), participants of ReFrame Washington 2019. Jay will share briefly about our meeting at USDA, and Melanie will share about meetings with her Representatives that focused on funding for Hurricane Florence and continuing the funding of the HOME programs.
(Note: Advocacy 103, a session about advocacy at the state and local level, will be conducted as a webinar this winter.)
