Dayle Stewart

After spending the first 17 years of her life in the Philippines, Dayle moved to the Upstate of South Carolina to attend Furman University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Religion. Prior to joining Rebuild Upstate, she had a 20 year career in public relations with Duke Energy and 9 years as resource development vice president with United Way of Anderson County. Dayle joined Rebuild Upstate as assistant director in 2016. In keeping with the rapid growth of the organization, her role changed to community engagement director in 2020.
During her time with Duke Energy, Dayle served as a member of the South Carolina Association of Non Profit Organizations Blue Ribbon Task Force for Preserving the Public Trust and as a board member for a number of community organizations. She currently serves on the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Town of Six Mile, SC.
Dayle and her husband live in Six Mile, SC where she enjoys time with family, reading, and making jewelry.
